Fish Lovers?

If you enjoy fishing or love eating fish, then Sweden is the country for you right now. The 28th Cod Festival in Helsingborg is the world's largest deep-sea fishing event and will take place January 19 - 21.

In this competition, contestants from all over the world are taken out to the Swedish sea on a fleet of fishing boats. The contestants are generally sport fishermen but beginners are welcome as well. There is a prize of SK 50,000 for the heaviest cod, and visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere, food, and entertainment.
