Icelandic Art in Denmark

Wednesday January 17, 2007
An special exhibition is taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark, shortly. It will feature two Icelandic icons: the great Icelandic national painter Jóhannes S. Kjarval (1885-1972) and the Icelandic/Danish contemporary artist Olafur Eliasson (born in 1967). Both artists are popular in Scandinavia and are known for their representations of the dramatic and scenic landscape of Iceland.

The exhibition is opening on February 10 and will be open until late April. Admission tickets are available for DKR 45 at the entrance of the exhibit.
