Scandinavian Events In February

Usually, February is a quiet month for travelers. However, this year there are several things coming up in February in in Sweden - one of them are the 2007 Ski World Championships in Are, Sweden. Åre now has a redesigned and improved Olympia ski area, within walking distance of central Åre. The World Championship takes places February 3 - 18, 2007. During these two weeks, 350 athletes from 60 nations compete on the slopes of Åre, Sweden.
