Oslo's Øya Festival & Jazz Festival Coming Up

There are two great events coming up in Norway's capital Oslo: The Øya Festival and the Oslo Jazz Festival.

The Øya Festival is a major Norwegian music event that offers a great line-up of internationally known rock and indie bands and takes place in mid-August: in 2007 from Aug 8-11. The Oya Festival is most likely Oslo's biggest rock (and indie) music festival.

For a different sort of musical taste, there is the Oslo Jazz Festival, well known to Scandinavians and many others.
