Airline Food Goes Healthy

Saturday May 17, 2008
Starting June 1, Iceland Express passengers can expect a very different taste. In response to countless requests, the Icelandic airline has implemented a new better tasting and healthier menu for everyone flying to/from Iceland.

Iceland Express flights will start offering fresh fruits and salads, healthier pasta dishes, and an improved sandwich selection. That will be quite a change from the bland food other airlines are serving. Iceland Express managing director Matthias Imsland states that, “passengers have increasingly been asking for more fresh and healthy food onboard and therefore we decided to change our menu in co-operation with Avaxtabillinn. The company is known for producing high quality product that we are proud to be able to offer our passengers.”
