December 10: The Nobel Prize Awards

Each year on December 10, the city of Stockholm is in Nobel Prize fever. On this day, science's biggest annual event gives out the Nobel Prizes for each category.

The only Nobel Prize not awarded in Stockholm is given out in Oslo, Norway: the Nobel Peace Prize. You can visit the Nobel Peace Center at Radhusplassen in Oslo (Oslo city map). They're open Tuesday-Sunday, 10am - 6pm.
