Taking place August 26-27 in 2011, this is one of the greatest medieval festivals in all of Europe. At night, the Danish town of Horsens is illuminated by countless candles, medieval oil lamps and bonfires. Even bicycle stands and telephone booths are covered with wood to blend in with the decorations.
