For the 25th consecutive year, the more and more popular annual Snow Festival takes place in Kiruna, Sweden. This "cool" festival can be found in the center of Kiruna January 28-30, 2011. And at night, retire to the famous ICEHOTEL nearby! (You can also visit it during the day, if you don't feel like sleeping there.)
There will be countless winter activities for all ages at the Snow Festival, including a snow scooter jump show, sled races, a winter fair, reindeer race, and more. Flights from Stockholm to Kiruna only take about 90 minutes and it's definitely worth the trip!
