Starting this year, European laws requires all traveling cats and dogs to be microchipped. It is to be the new standard of identifying pets traveling by air. So, keep in mind that tattooed dogs and cats won't qualify anymore - and have your pet microchipped this year if there are pet travel plans in your future.
