It's that time of the year again. The public Norwegian Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Union Station will be held on Tuesday, December 4th. True to tradition, the Royal Norwegian Embassy will again give a Christmas tree to the people of Washington, D.C. as a symbol of friendship between the United States and Norway.

This year, the tree lighting ceremony will be held outside the West Hall of the station, on the porch facing 1st Street by the west exit of Union Station Metro station.
