Oslo Airport Security Update
Saturday January 27, 2007
Oslo Airport Gardermoen was closed for more than an hour Friday afternoon, after security staff had discovered a suitcase containing what they believed to be explosives. The suspicious item was eventually found, and it turned out that the suitcase contained nothing illegal. The false alarm caused delays of up to two-and-a-half hours, since the evacuation meant that all had to check in a second time.
