Each year in august, Copenhagen Pride attracts visitors from Scandinavia and many other countries, inviting them to the Copenhagen Pride Week, held in Denmark's capital since 1996. This pride event takes place in early/mid-August each year.

Copenhagen Pride offers visitors many GLBT events, happening mainly in the center of Copenhagen. The Pride Square Café is the social hot spot (need some useful Danish phrases?). But actually, the entire city of Copenhagen is celebrating.

There is a Pride Show at the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen, with DJs and live performances that should not be missed by any GLBT visitor in Denmark. The city park H.C. Ørstedsparken hosts an Open Air Film event with free admission.

The highlight of the Copenhagen Pride is always the Annual Gay Pride Parade, moving through the center of Copenhagen. This pride parade attracts thousands of participants and visitors (check the Weather in Denmark at the time). Make sure to visit the parade if you're in for "Dykes on Bikes, screaming queens and leather guys".

Or, take a look at the other Annual Events in Denmark!
