The Winter Jazz festival is a 10-day jazz event taking place in late January each year. In Denmark, 50 different venues host close to 200 jazz concerts during the Winter Jazz festival. Not just Copenhagen but the whole country goes jazz-crazy!

The Winter Jazz festival offers all kinds of jazz varieties and there is entertainment like jazz programs for children, jazz competitions, music awards, etc.

The last couple of years Winter Jazz has become a Nordic event - and Nordic Jazz was born. Now even Norway, Sweden and Åland celebrate Winter Jazz festivals before and after the event dates of the original Winter Jazz Festival in Denmark.
