The Finlandia Ski Race is a major winter sports event in Finland. The races with several thousands of competitors are held each year in late February in the town of Lahti.

Whether you just want to watch the Finlandia Ski Race, or be amongst the 5,000 participating skiers, you shouldn't miss this great annual event in Finland. There are two races (20 miles and 40 miles in length) of which both offer break areas along the way.

The starting point for the Finlandia Ski Race is the Lahti Ski Center directly in Lahti (2 hours northeast of Helsinki, Finland).

The Finlandia Ski Race offers visitors free admission, and if you'd like to participate in the races yourself, there is a small registration fee (for details and upcoming event dates, check the official Finlandia Ski Race website).
