Musica Nova Helsinki (formerly the Helsinki Biennale) is a large spring event in Finland's capital. This annual event combines classical music by international performers with musical culture in Helsinki.

Musica Nova Helsinki takes place early in the year (2009: February 7-14) and offers Helsinki visitors a wonderful event that's all about classical music: orchestras and performers not just from Finland but from all over the world show off their skills, and you can experience dance productions along with taking part in composer workshops.
