GLBTs, come to Malmö for the popular pride festival here. It's awesome. Each year during the last week of September thousands of GLBT visitors and locals join in the celebrations of the Malmo Rainbow Festival ("Regnbågsfestivalen" in Swedish), a.k.a. the Malmo Pride Festival.
The Malmo Pride Festival in Sweden starts with a bang - the kick-off party is a big attraction for many gays, lesbians, bis and transgenders (GLBT). This annual pride event includes the Malmo Pride Parade, ten days of art exhibitions, performances & dance nights, as well as non-stop drag shows.
Fun Fact: The Malmo Pride Festival is more commonly known as the Malmo Rainbow Festival in Sweden, which stems from the rainbow flag associated with gays & lesbians.
