Norwegian Wood is a music festival in Norway's capital Oslo. The name comes from the famous Beatles hit "Norwegian Wood". The Norwegian Wood rock festival is an annual event taking place right in the middle of June in Oslo.

The Norwegian Wood rock festival happens in Frognerbadet, near Frognerparken (the Vigeland park). There, you can enjoy rock music entertainment performed by internationally well-known bands and singers hand-picked to perform at Oslo's popular event...while experiencing the Midnight Sun!

Tickets: 7000 tickets will be sold for each day of the event. And they sell out fast! The best way to obtain a ticket is to buy it in advance from BilletService. Children under 5 are free of charge, ticketes for children 5-12 only cost NOK 60 in addition to the adult ticket when accompanied by adults. Directions to the Norwegian Wood rock festival: The airport train will take you directly from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the station "Nationalteateret", the station closest to the festival. If you're already in Oslo, take a tram to "Majorstua" or "Frogner Stadium" station to get to Vigeland Park.
