© Jonik, CC LicenseI love this tour of the Finnish capital. This guided tour of Helsinki gives visitors the opportunity to see
Helsinki's top attractions such as the old historical center with the Senate Square, City Hall, the Parliament building, the Presidential Palace, and the tour also includes Finlandia Hall and the Helsinki Opera House. Tour is available in English and Swedish.
Length of tour: 1 hr 45 minutes, from US$ 32/EUR 23/GBP 22. Departs daily year-round at the Olympia Terminal.

© Jah G.I really enjoy this one. This is a realxing tour for nature lovers or anyone wanting to get out of the big city for an afternoon. It even includes a coffee break and Finnish sweet bread. The tour destination is the Nuuksio National Park, a 45 minute drive from Helsinki. There are 38 lakes and ponds in the park and the group walks along a beautiful forest path before the break. This 4-hour tour departs from Helsinki every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from June to September. Around US$ 74/ EUR 51 / GBP 54.

Cepolina.comFrom June through September you can go on a 4-hour tour to Porvoo every Monday and Friday. There is lots of time to explore and our group appreciated very much that we weren't hurried along by our English-speaking tour guide. Porvoo is a very pretty town, and the tour operator is right when stating that, "a highlight of your visit is some relaxing free time to take a walk in the old town, stopping off at delightful shops, cafes and craftsmen's workshops." Around US$ 74 /EUR 51 /GBP 54.

© Jan CurtisLooking for an adventure? These wintry tours are offered in
Finnish Lapland and after my very first tour, I went again two days later! This guided tour is an adventure and a unique one at that. It departs daily at 6 pm, at Koskikatu 6 in
Rovaniemi. It's an indescribable 3-hour tour that lets you journey through a wondrous Finnish landscape at night, and possibly even experience the
Northern Lights. Around US$ 150/EUR 110/GBP 105.

© Jonik, CC LicenseAimed at budget-travelers, this self-guided audio tour of
Helsinki is available in 12 different languages. Just like the guided tour of Helsinki mentioned above, this tour of Helsinki shows visitors must-see attractions and important sights such as the historical center with the Senate Square, Helsinki City Hall, the Parliament building, the Presidential Palace, Finlandia Hall and the Opera House. I like the reasonable pricing of this tour, and the flexibility.
Length of tour: 1 hr 30 minutes, from US$ 30/EUR 22/GBP 21. This Helsinki tour departs daily (twice daily in summer) at three different locations in Helsinki.
