I love these winter adventure tours, and this Lapland tour offers 3-in-1 value, plus snacks. Included in my tour fee were a snowmobile ride (to the Husky farm), then a Husky ride, and at the reindeer farm we got a reindeer driver's license for "driving" a traditional reindeer sleigh. This Lapland tour concludes by driving your snowmobile back to town. The minimum age to get your own snowmobile is 15. Around €178.

This is definitely one of the more adventurous Lapland tours. It includes an exciting dune buggy ride across the rugged forest trails of the Lapland Wilderness Center and at the end you can choose to try some abseiling at the climbing wall they have there. Wow! Keep in mind that there will be two tour guests per buggy, and you'll take turns driving. You have to be at least 15 years old and bring your driver's license. Around €85.

6. Lapland Tour "The Secret of the Antler"

This is one of my favorite Lapland tours. It shows you Lapland's serene nature while you use a riverboat to go to a local craft workshop inside a log home. There, tour guests are taught about traditional Lappish crafts and the reindeer antler crafting being done. We were then allowed to try to make small souvenirs from reindeer antlers, to take home with us (the souvenir is included in the tour price). Around €97.

I haven't been on many night tours, but in Lapland this one is a MUST. Experiencing the silent nighttime in Lapland's snowy landscape is a wondrous experience, especially if you're able to view the Northern Lights while you're out there. Along with hot drinks and a snack around an open fire in the snow, the tour provides thermal wear and takes you away from civilization for three hours via snowmobiles. Around €118.

Ice fishing in Lapland is a very interesting, and very cold experience. The tour operater provides thermal wear, though. This winter tour takes you to a lake by means of snowmobiles, where your guide will help you do some ice fishing! The tour guests enjoyed the freshly caught fish at the campfire afterwards, which was also lots of fun. Around €108.

10. The White Water Rafting Tour in Lapland

Don't do this Lapland tour unless you're ready to get wet. First, you'll get your rafting outfits and then the tour takes you half an hour north of Rovaniemi. Listen to the English speaking guide's tips and then it's go time, down 10 kilometers with six wild rapids. This tour gave us a decent adrenaline rush! Around €72.
