It's always good to look at travel reviews before you travel to Scandinavia. Have you stayed at a hotel you liked, or maybe eaten a bad meal at a Scandinavian restaurant? Tell us about it and see your review article online, by following these review submission guidelines.

Time Required: 30 - 45 minutes
Here's How:
- Have a look at some of the reviews already available: Hotel Reviews and Restaurant Reviews. Choose a star rating out of 5 with five stars being the best (you can give half stars, e.g. 3.5 stars).
- Write the Bottom Line, which is a short summary (1-2 lines) of the hotel review. Then, provide Pros & Cons (between 1-5 each), which are the good and bad points of the place you're reviewing.
- List the hotel's or restaurant's contact details such as their complete address, phone number, website (if available).
- Write a 150-250 word review of your stay at the hotel. You must have been an actual guest. Tell us what was unique about the hotel. Note that reviews sent in by owners, employees, or affiliates cannot be published. Please use spell-check.
- If you took any photos of the place you're reviewing, please attach them to the emailed review. Make sure to save your photo as a .jpg file. The maximum width of the image should be 200 pixels (or about 2 inches, or 5 cm). Look for the "resize" or "Image Size" option in your photo software. The overall file size should be no larger than 30 kB.
- Almost there! Now, email your review (and photos) to goscandinavia.guide@about.com and put "User Review Submission" in the subject of the email. Make sure to send
- Your hotel review following the guidelines above
- Your photo(s) following the guidelines above
- Your full name (and pseudonym if desired)
- Sentence stating you have read the user agreement and understand that your review and photo submission does not guarantee that the review and photo(s) will appear on Scandinavia for Visitors. - Lastly, please copy the following paragraph to the end of your email:
"I certify that I am the author or sole owner of the material I am submitting to About.com. About.com and its licensees may reproduce, distribute, publish, display, edit, modify, create derivative works and otherwise use the material for any purpose in any form and on any media. I agree to indemnify About.com for all damages and expenses that may be incurred in connection with the material."
